Yvon Jean Vautour (born September 10, 1956 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada) is a retired ice hockey right winger. Vautour was drafted by the New York Islanders 104th overall in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft.
Vautour started out with the Saint John Schooners of the New Brunswick Junior Hockey League then he played with Mike Bossy for the Laval National of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The New York Islanders chose him 104th overall in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft. He played mostly for Islanders' Farm teams, getting into 17 games with the Isles in 1979-80. Vautour got a reputation as a rugged player.
The Colorado Rockies claimed him on waivers in 1980 and he played a full NHL season in 1980-81, scoring 15 goals and 19 assists. However, he split time between the Rockies and the minor pros until 1984, when he signed with the Quebec Nordiques.
After one more season spent mostly with the Nordiques' farm team the Fredericton Express, Vautour retired from pro hockey.
He made a comeback in 1987 with senior teams in his hometown of Saint John, playing three more years. He retired in 1990.
In his NHL career, Vautour played in 204 games, scoring 26 goals and 33 assists.
He served as an assistant coach for his hometown Saint John Flames from 2000–03, winning the Calder Cup in 2001.
