Yan Kaminsky (born July 28, 1971 in Penza, Russia) is a retired ice hockey player who played in the Soviet Hockey League and National Hockey League. He played for HC Dynamo Moscow, Winnipeg Jets, and New York Islanders. He was chosen 99th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft.
Kaminsky played in Russia for Dynamo Moscow until 1993, when he joined the Winnipeg Jets. In February, 1994, he was traded to the New York Islanders for Wayne McBean. He spent most of his time in North America playing in the minor pros. Kaminsky only played in 26 NHL games, scoring 3 goals and 2 assists.
He retired in 1999.
He was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1993.
