The Wisconsin-Stevens Point Pointers are a Women's Division III, ice hockey team in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and had previously played in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association prior to the formation of the conference's hockey leagues for 2013-14.
The women's program is based out of the Ice Hawks Arena located about 4 miles (6.25km) off campus. The facility is owned by Portage County Youth on Ice.
Women's program
The women's program was started with the 1997-98 season.
The team won the NCHA regular season championship in 2001-02, 2004-05, and 2005-06.
The team won the NCHA tournament in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007
The team qualified for the NCAA tournament in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2014
The team made Final Four appearnaces in 2004, 2006, and 2007
