The Winnipeg Maroons were a team in Winnipeg, Manitoba that first played in the Central Amateur Hockey League in 1925-26. They then moved to the American Hockey Association for two seasons, 1926-27 and 1927-28, and then folded.

Central Amateur Hockey League[]

The Winnipeg Maroons were a minor league team that played in the Central Amateur Hockey League for the 1925-26 season. The team was based out of the Winnipeg Auditorium until it was destroyed by fire in 1926.

American Hockey Association[]

They were a founding member of the American Hockey Association. The team was owned by the owners of the Winnipeg Auditorium. The team would play in the league for the 1926-27 and 1927-28 seasons. They would be based out of Shea's Amphitheatre, which opened in 1909, after the fire as that was the largest venue in the city until the opening of the Winnipeg Arena in 1954. The team appears to have ceased operations after the 1927-28 season.
