The Winnipeg Freeze are a Canadian Junior A hockey team from Winnipeg, Manitoba. They are members of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), and a part of the Canadian Junior Hockey League.
The team was founded in 2020 and is owned by 50 Below Sports + Entertainment Inc, owners of the Western Hockey League's Winnipeg Ice and another MJHL club, the Winnipeg Blues.
For its' inaugural season, the team played its home games at The Rink Training Centre, located near Winnipeg in the Rural Municipality of Macdonald. The team would relocate to the Dakota Community Centre in Winnipeg for the 2021-22 season. And to the hockey for all centre, Winnipeg Jets practice and training facility, for the 2022-23 season.
