The Winnipeg Esquires were a Canadian Junior "A" ice Hockey Team from Winnipeg, Manitoba. They were members of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. The Esquires were part of the famed Winnipegs hockey system.
With the shortage of hockey players during World War II, the Esquires and the Winnipeg Red Wings combined to form the Winnipeg Esquires-Red Wings for 1944-45.
The Esquires withdrew from the MJHL in 1945 over National Hockey League sponsorship.
