Windsor Maple Leafs

History[]

The Windsor Maple Leafs were a senior team from Windsor, Nova Scotia. The original team was based out of the Stannus Street Rink. They started out playing in the Valley Senior Hockey League, winning the league title in 1936, 1948, 1951, 1952, 1953, and 1954.

The later version of the Maple Leafs played in the Nova Scotia Senior Hockey League and won the league title in 1964. This version of the Maple Leafs were also originally based out of the Stannus Street Rink until the opening of the Hants Exhibition Arena in the early 1960's.

The 1963-64 team has been inducted into the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame.
