The Wilkes University Colonels are men's and women's hockey teams representing Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Both programs will take to the ice with the 2017-18 season. The teams will play and practice out of the Toyota SportsPlex. The facility is the practice facility of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, with whom they will have an affiliation with to get the program off the ground.
