The Whitecourt Cats were a men's senior A hockey team located in Whitecourt, Alberta that were charter members of the North Central Hockey League (Alberta). The Cats played from 1995 to 2004. The team was granted a one year leave of absence due to player and executive shortages after the 2003-04 season. The town would not rejoin the league until the Whitecourt Wild were formed for the 2013-14 season
