The White Rock Whalers are a junior hockey team that began play in the Pacific Junior Hockey League for the 2018-19 season. The team is based out of the White Rock Centennial Arena in White Rock, British Columbia.
Origins[]
On May 6, 2018 the team was announced as an expansion team for the 2018-19 season. The team was named after a previous team with the same name. The original White Rock Whalers junior team played out of the same arena from 1985-1989 in the West Coast Junior Hockey League – the precursor to the PJHL – and won a league title in 1988.
