The White Rock Whalers are a junior hockey team that is scheduled to being play in the Pacific Junior Hockey League for the 2018-19 season. The team is based out of the White Rock Centennial Arena in White Rock, British Columbia.
Origins
On May 6, 2018 the team was announced as an expansion team for the 2018-19 season. The team was named after a previous team with the same name. The original White Rock Whalers junior team played out of the same arena from 1985-1989 in the West Coast Junior Hockey League – the precursor to the PJHL – and won a league title in 1988.
