The league has operated as what could be described as a circuit of convenience for the member teams. Teams competing for the Coy Cup must play six games prior to the start of qualifying to be eligible to compete in the tournament.
For 2015-16 the only games I can find information are a couple of games involving the North Island Capitals (based out of the Fuller Lake section of Chemainus and Lake Cowichan) and the Powell River Regals.
There were no changes for the 2017-18 season.
The Kelowna Sparta would announce they would be registered at the Senior AAA level for 2018-19 and would compete for the Allan Cup. There was little if any social media activity for any of the four teams in the late summer and fall of 2018. It was reported that Kelowna was not going to compete for the Allan Cup. They had actually had a berth in the 2019 Allan Cup due to a team from Alberta hosting the event and the fact that there were no teams from the Eastern qualifying region (Quebec) for the tournament. None of the four teams appear to be operating at all for the 2018-19 season.
