Wayne Wilson Hicks (born April 9, 1937) is a retired American professional ice hockey right winger who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Chicago Black Hawks, Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers. He played one game for Chicago in the 1961 Stanley Cup Finals, helping them win the Stanley Cup. So Chicago honored Hicks, by putting his name on the Cup.
He spent most of his career in the minor pros, playing 115 games in the NHL, scoring 13 goals and 23 assists.
He is the father of Alex Hicks.
