Walker Arena was an indoor arena located in Potsdam, New York. The arena was first used as the home arena for the Clarkson Golden Knights men's ice hockey team in 1938. The arena was home to the hockey team until they moved into the Cheel Arena in 1991. The arena was named in honor of G. Murray Walker who had run the Clarkson University bookstore from 1921 to 1965 and was known as the "father of hockey" in Potsdam as he was one of the founders of the team back in 1921. The team's first home was on the Raquette River behind what would later be the Potsdam High School.
