Walery Kosyl (b. March 17th 1944 in Alfeld, Germany) is a retired Polish goaltender.

One of the best goaltender of the history of Polish hockey, Kosyl played some twenty seasons with ŁKS Łodz and Legia Warszawa. With Warszaw in 1967, Kosyl won the Polish championship title. He played 559 matches between 1957 and 1983, and, as of 2008, remains the sole goaltender in Polish history to have scored a goal.

Kosyl took part in seven World Championships and two Olympic Games (1972 in Sapporo and 1976 in Innsbruck) between 1964 and 1976.
