Vladimír Sobotka (born July 2, 1987) is a Czech professional ice hockey center currently playing for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Playing career[edit | edit source]

Sobotka was drafted 106th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Boston Bruins from Slavia Prague of the Czech Extraliga.

Sobotka played his first NHL game on November 24, 2007 against the New York Islanders. His first NHL goal was scored later that season, on February 13 against Ty Conklin of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
