Vika Mykolenko is a women’s ice hockey player from Ukraine that competed for the Brown Bears.

Playing career

NCAA

She joined the Brown Bears in the autumn of 2008, and she finished second among freshmen scoring with four points. Her +1 plus/minus rating led all skaters. Her first NCAA point was in a game at St. Cloud State. A two game scoring streak was earned with assists in back-to-back games against Niagara and Mercyhurst in November 2008. The first NCAA goal of her caeer was scored against Harvard on January 9, 2009. The following season (2009-10), Mykolenko participated in 27 games for the Bears, with an offensive output of only one goal and one assist, She took 12 shots on goal and had only one minor penalty for the entire season. During the 2010-11 season (head coach Digit Murphy’s final season), she competed in 26 contests. She only logged one assist all season, while taking 17 shots on goal and serving eight minutes of penalties. [1]
