Several teams have sported the name Victoria Cougars in the history of hockey:
- The Victoria Cougars (WHL), a major junior team of the Western Hockey League (that had also played in the Pacific Coast Junior Hockey League and in the British Columbia Hockey League);
- The Victoria Cougars (PCHA), a professional team that played in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association and the Western Canada Hockey League early in the twentieth century;
- The Victoria Cougars (1949-1961), a professional team that played in the Pacific Coast Hockey League and the Western Hockey League;
- The Victoria Cougars (VIJHL), a junior "B" team currently operating in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League.
