The Vernal Oilers are an ice hockey team from the Vernal, Utah. The team was added as an expansion team in the Western States Hockey League in August, 2021.[1] The team will be based out of Western Park Ice Rink. They began play with the 2021-22 season.
The team would form the Can-Am Junior Hockey League along with the other five remaining members of the WSHL on January 5, 2022.[2]
The team would join the United States Premier Hockey League for the 2022-23 season along with several of the other former WSHL Northwest Division teams.
