Valerie Chouinard (born March 4, 1986) is a Canadian ice hockey forward who competed for the Mercyhurst College Lakers. She grew up in Matane, Quebec. After her senior season at Mercyhurst, Chouinard was one of only 12 NCAA women's players to have at least 200 career points.
Growing up, Chouinard played minor hockey with les Sieurs de Matane and played one season of AA hockey with TGV Pentagone in Mont-Joli.[1] She was also an instructor at a hockey school in Pittsburgh sponsored by the Pittsburgh Penguins.[2]
