The Utah Outliers are a junior team in the United States Premier Hockey League's Premier Division. They formerly played in the Western States Hockey League (WSHL) prior to the 2020-21 season. They play in Salt Lake City, UT at the Accord Ice Rink. The team was established as an expansion team for the 2011-12 season. The team was originally based out of nearby Park City, Utah as the Park City Moose playing out of the Park City Ice Arena, until relocating to the Accord Ice Rink in Salt Lake City for the 2012-13 season. The team would then be renamed the Salt Lake City Moose
The team would be renamed the Utah Outliers for the 2016-17 season after announcing an affiliation with a Utah hockey school.
The team would be announced as joining the United States Premier Hockey League's Premier league for the 2020-21 season.[1]
