The Tropical Ice Gardens was an outdoor ice arena located in Los Angeles, California. The arena opened on November 28, 1938. The arena was owned during most of its life by figure skating legend Sonja Henie. The arena was closed and slated for demolition in 1950 but it collapsed on May 5, 1950. The arena was on the edge of the campus of University of California Los Angeles and was used by their team for hockey for its whole existence.
