Trois-Rivières is a city of the province of Quebec, located in the Mauricie region. The current city of Trois-Rivières is home to a population of 129,100 and is the result of the merger of Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Pointe-du-Lac, Sainte-Marthe-du-Cap, Saint-Louis-de-France, Trois-Rivières itself and Trois-Rivières-Ouest.
