Trevor Ettinger (July 13, 1980 - July 26, 2003) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman.
Ettinger played junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Moncton Wildcats and the Shawinigan Cataractes. He was drafted 159th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft and turned pro in 2001 signing for the Columbus Blue Jackets and had spells in the American Hockey League for the Syracuse Crunch and the ECHL for the Dayton Bombers.
Ettinger committed suicide on July 26, 2003, shooting himself in his mother's home in Upper Kennetcook, Nova Scotia.
