Tony Virta (born June 18, 1972 in Hämeenlinna, Finland) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey forward. He was drafted by the Minnesota Wild as their fourth-round pick (103rd overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
In the summer of 2001 Virta signed with Färjestads BK, but before the season had started he signed with the NHL club Minnesota Wild, who had drafted him that same summer, and therefore he never played a game for Färjestad.
He played in only 8 games for the Wild in 2001-02, scoring 2 goals and 3 assists. He spent the rest of that season and all of the next with the Houston Aeros. After that he returned to Europe.
After retiring in 2010, he played one game in a low-level Finnish league in 2011-12.
