Tomáš Fleischmann (born May 16, 1984 in Kopřivnice, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech professional ice hockey player with the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League.

Playing career[]

Originally drafted in 2002 by the Detroit Red Wings, Fleischmann was traded to the Washington Capitals in 2004 in a deal that brought Robert Lang to Detroit.

On March 18, 2007, Fleischmann recorded the first multi-point game of his career. Fleischmann recorded the first two goals of the game in the first period against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He finished the game with 2 goals and 2 assists, while being named the game's second star.
