Tom Thomson (born Aug. 4, 1952. in Bowmanville, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman who was a 4th round (60th overall) draft pick of the Minnesota North Stars in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft.
He played junior hockey for the Toronto Marlboros and Peterborough Petes from 1969 to 1972. His professional career, all in the minor pro leagues, lasted from 1972 to 1984.
