Tom O'Malley is a women's hockey coach that has been the head coach of the Boston College Eagles women's ice hockey team, the Wayne State Warriors women's ice hockey team and is the present head coach of the Sacred Heart Pioneers women's ice hockey team. Entering the 2020-21 playing season he has a record of 277-422-45 having him in the top 25 all-time in American women's collegiate coaching victories.
He is a native of Boston and graduated from Boston College in 1989 with a degree in economics. He remained at Boston College and was integral in the development of the women's club team and would become the head coach when the program was elevated to varsity status for the 1994–95 Boston College Eagles women's ice hockey season.
He would also build the Wayne State Warriors women's ice hockey team from the ground up.
