Tomáš Tatar (born December 1, 1990) is a Slovak professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League (AHL).[1] Tatar was selected 60th overall in the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, by the Detroit Red Wings. He was also drafted 15th overall in the first round of the 2009 KHL Entry Draft by SKA St. Petersburg.
He played for Slovakia at the 2009 and the 2010 World Junior Championships.
