Toivo Suursoo (b. November 13th 1975 in Tallinn, Estonia) is a professional left winger who plays for the Swindon Wildcats of the English Premier Ice Hockey League.
One of the best Estonian hockey players, Suursoo was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft 283rd overall. He however never played in the NHL; he had a brief stint in North America in 1998-99 with the Adirondack Red Wings, then played 51 games two seasons later with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. He spent the most part of his career in the SM-Liiga and the Elitserien.
Suursoo, despite being one of the best, if not the best, Estonian hockey players, has seldom played for the Estonian National Team throughout his career - he's only taken part in the 2003 World Championship Division I, and then the 2007 World Championship Division I.
