Todd Watson is the current head coach of the Saginaw Spirit, who play in the Ontario Hockey League. He has been the club's head coach since 2007. In the 2009 playoffs, Watson led the Spirit to their first ever playoff series victory, as they swept the Guelph Storm in the conference quarter-finals. Previously, Watson was an assistant general manager and associate head coach of the Plymouth Whalers, helping them win the J. Ross Robertson Cup in his final season with the club in 2006-07, and a spot in the Memorial Cup. Prior to his stint in Plymouth, Watson was head coach of the Detroit Compuware Ambassadors at the Compuware Sports Arena in Plymouth Michigan.
