Lars Rudolf Thommie Bergman (born 10 December 1947) is a retired Swedish ice hockey player for the Detroit Red Wings and Winnipeg Jets. In Sweden he played for KB Karlskoga, Västra Frölunda HC and Södertälje SK.
He also played for Sweden at the 1971 and 1972 World Championships and the 1972 Olympics. In March, 1972, he signed as a free agent with the Detroit Red Wings as one of the first Swedish players to play in the NHL.
Bergman scored 9 goals and 12 assists in his rookie season of 1972-73 but after that had trouble adjusting to the rougher play in North America. In 1974 he was the subject of a rare inter-league trade when the Wings sent him to the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association (WHA).
He did very well for the Jets for two full and two part seasons, winning the Avco World Trophy in 1975-76 and playing for Sweden in the 1976 Canada Cup. In March, 1978, he was again signed as a free agent by the Detroit Red Wings and played until 1980.
After being sent down to the Adirondack Red Wings in 1979-80, Bergman returned to Sweden in 1980-81 for three seasons. He retired in 1983.
In the NHL Bergman played in 246 games and scored 21 goals and 44 assists. In the WHA he scored 22 goals and 97 assists in 234 regular season games and 3 goals and 10 assists in 13 playoff games.
