
Terry Simpson (born August 30, 1943 in Brantford, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional player and a former NHL head coach. He only played one season of professional hockey in 1964–65 for the Jacksonville Rockets of the EHL. He was the head coach of the New York Islanders, Philadelphia Flyers, and Winnipeg Jets.
He was also coach of the Prince Albert Raiders junior team from 19756 through 1986 and in 1990, That team won the Centennial Cup in 1977,1979, 1981, and 1982 and the Memorial Cup in 1985.
