Terran Sandwith (born April 17, 1972) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played eight games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Edmonton Oilers during the 1997–98 season.

Playing career

Sandwith started his junior career with the Tri-City Americans in the WHL, steadily improving his point totals in three seasons with the team. For the 1991–92 seasons, Sandwith split time with the Brandon Wheat Kings and the Saskatoon Blades. He totalled 27 points to go along with 198 penalty minutes. He was selected in the second round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, 42nd overall, by the Philadelphia Flyers.

He never made the Flyers. spending three seasons with the Hershey Bears after turning pro in 1993. After a year with the Canadian national men's hockey team in 1995-96, he signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Oilers in 1996. He only managed to play eight games with the Oilers in 1997-98, with no goals or assists and 6 penalty minutes.

After that he played only in the minors. He played with the Belfast Giants in 2001-02 and Jokerit Helsinki in 2002-03 when her retired.
