Ted Scharf (born October 3, 1951 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played 238 games in the WHA with the New York Raiders, New York Golden Blades, New Jersey Knights, San Diego Mariners, Indianapolis Racers, and Edmonton Oilers.

He played junior hockey for the Kitchener Rangers from 1968 to 1971 and was chosen 50th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. Scharf turned pro with the Jersey Devils in 1971-72.

In 1972-73 Scharf jumped to the newly-formed World Hockey Association (WHA) and signed with the New York Raiders. He spent five seasons in the WHA, scoring 16 goals and 20 assists in 238 games and getting 343 penalty minutes.

He retired in 1977.
