Team Beijing is a junior hockey team based out of East Meadow, New York. The team is based out of the Northwell Health Ice Center, which is the practice facility for the New York Islanders.
The team was added to the United States Premier Hockey League's Elite division for the 2016-17 season. The team is an effort to develop the game of ice hockey in China. The Islanders organization has had a commitment to the development of the game in China since opening an office in Harbin, China in 2005. Many of these players may end up on the roster of Chinese National Team at the 2022 Winter Olympics which is being held in Beijing. The team is being trained by Islanders Skills Development Coach Bernie Cassell and Jr. Islander coaches Eric Conway and Rudy Sulmonte. The Islanders have annually hosted the Lighthouse International Hockey Tournament and five members of the team's opening night roster have competed in the pee wee tournament twice.
