Tanja Eisenschmid (born 20 April 1993) is a German female ice hockey player who plays for the Minnesota Whitecaps of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) and the Germany women's national ice hockey team.

She attended the University of North Dakota, playing for their women's hockey team, from 2012 to 2016.[1] Afterwards, she joined the independent Minnesota Whitecaps beginning in the 2016–17 season.[2] She remained with the Whitecaps when the team joined the professional National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) in the 2018–19 season.[3]

She was a member of the German team that competed at the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship and the 2014 Olympics.[4] She is also a marketing intern for the University of North Dakota's television show, Studio One.
