Tacoma Tigers
The Tacoma Tigers were a minor pro team in Tacoma, Washington. They played in the Pacific Coast Hockey League in the 1930-31 season.
They had been moved from the Victoria Cubs.
The team may have been based out of the State Armory in Tacoma, Washington as a temporary home pending the contruction of a new arena. But due to the Great Depression the team was having problems getting funding for the arena. They were folded by the league on January 1, 1931, with a 2-7-1-5 record. The Tacoma Ice Palace would eventually be built to serve as the primary hockey venue in the city.
