Sprint Center Kansas City Missouri

The T-Mobile Center formerly the Sprint Center is an indoor arena located in Kansas City, Missouri. It seats 17,752 for ice hockey.

There is currently no hockey team there but it is a potential candidate for National Hockey League expansion. Some NHL exhibition games have been played there.

Published reports in December of 2016 indicated that the St. Louis Blues were looking into moving their American Hockey League to the arena from suburban Chicago. The report stated that Lamar Hunt Jr. who owns the Missouri Mavericks of the ECHL was involved in the effort. This would lead to the folding of the Mavericks as the team plays out of the Kansas City suburb of Independence, Missouri.
