The Summerside Crunch (officially the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch for sponsorship reasons) are a junior C team in the Prince Edward Island Junior C Hockey League. The team was originally approved in April of 2016 to begin play with the 2016-17 season but were announced as not being able to take to the ice for the season and the start was pushed back to the fall of 2017. The team would eventually end up playing in 2016-17. The team replaces the former Summerside Western Capitals.
