The Stratford Canadians played in the Michigan-Ontario League in 1939-40 and then in the 1940-41 OHA Senior B Season.

They were also a junior B team in 1941-42 that won the 1941-42 Sutherland Cup Championship. The Canadians then went on to win the 1942 NOHA-OHA Junior B Championship.
