The Stevenson Mustangs are Men's Division III team that began play in 2016-17. The team was originally a member of ECAC West. The team would later join the United Collegiate Hockey Conference and the Middle Atlantic Conference when both were formed for 2017-18 season. The women's team had started with the 2012-13 playing season.

Men's TeamEdit

On May 27, 2015 the university announced the addition of men's ice hockey as a varsity program. The school was accepted as a member of ECAC West for the team's first season of 2016-17.

The school was announced as being an inaugural member of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference for the 2017-18 season when the conference was formally announced on October 4, 2016. The school is a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference hockey conference. The MAC is the school's all-sports home. The is contested in the same manner as the Ivy League is run within the ECAC Hockey hockey conference.
