Steve Silverthorn (born February 7, 1981 in Owen Sound, Ontario) is a retired Canadian goaltender. He played junior hockey with the Owen Sound Greys for the 1999-00 and 2000-01 seasons. He would then play for the Colgate Raiders men's ice hockey team from 2001-02 to 2004-05. He would end up tying the record for most career victories by a goaltender (55) at Colgate with Dan Brenzavich, a record they continue to co-hold as of the end of the 2022-23 season. He would play with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL and Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League during the 2005-06 to 2007-08 seasons. He would then play with Tölzer Löwen and SERC Wild Wings in the German Oberliga from 2008-09 to 2011-12. He would return to North America to play with the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League during the 2011-12 season and play his final season with the Allen Americans of the CHL in 2012-13.
