Stephane Roy (born June 29, 1967 in Quebec City, Quebec) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 12 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Minnesota North Stars. He is the brother of Patrick Roy.
He played junior hockey for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens and the Granby Bisons and was selected 51st overall by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. He was a member of the Canadian National Team in 1986 and 1987 and was a part of the Punch-up in Piestany in 1987.
Roy played 12 games for the North Stars in 1987-88, scoring 1 goal. This was the extent of his NHL experience.
He spent several seasons with the Canadian National Team in the 1990's and also played in Europe.
He retired in 2001.
