Stateline is a census-designated place (CDP) on the southeastern shore of Lake Tahoe in Douglas County, Nevada, United States. It lies next to the California state line and City of South Lake Tahoe Stateline is just south the 45 degree bend in the California-Nevada state boundardy. The population was 595 at the 2020 census. The population swells considerably during the busy winter and summer seasons, due to the high number of hotel rooms and rental accommodations available.

The community is home to the Edgewood Tahoe Resort which was host to two NHL regular season games on February 20 and 21, 2021 as part of the NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe which was held on the 18th fairway of the golf course, which has a view of the lake and mountains on the opposite banks of the lake in California. The event was held with no one in attendence due to restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event has several distinctions in NHL history. The two games were the only outdoor NHL games to be played with out any one in attendence and were played at an elevation of 6,240 feet/1,900 meters making them the highest elevation a regular season NHL game has been played.
