The Saint Anselm Hawks are a Men's Division II team in the Northeast Ten conference. The women's team also plays in the New England Women's Hockey Alliance. Both teams are based out of the Sullivan Arena.

Men's ProgramEdit

Until the end of the 2016-17 season, the school was at the NCAA Division II in all sports except ice hockey. The men's team was part of the Division II Northeast-10; but they also played in a Division III conference New England Hockey Conference. The NEHC decided to go to a Division III only format starting with the 2017-18 season for several reasons but most notably that the NCAA tournament selection committee did not take games against the non-Division III members into account when selecting at large bids for the NCAA tournament.

Women's ProgramEdit

The women's program was established with the 2004-05 season. The women's team plays a full schedule in the Division III New England Hockey Conference as the Northeast-10 does not offer women's ice hockey.
