Simon Nielsen (born October 27, 1986) is a Danish ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for Lukko in the top Finnish league, the SM-liiga.
Nielsen holds the distinction of having represented Denmark four times at the Ice Hockey World Championships without getting any ice time. He last was a member of the Danish squad at the 2011 IIHF World Championship as a third string goaltender to Frederik Andersen and Patrick Galbraith.

Simon is the younger brother of Frans Nielsen, who plays forward for the New York Islanders.[1]
