Silvio Angelo "Sam" Bettio (b. December 1, 1928 in Copper Cliff, Ontario - d. June 14, 2006) is a former Canadian ice hockey left winger. He played one season in the NHL for the Boston Bruins.
He played junior hockey for the Copper Cliff Redmen for two seasons - 1945-46 and 1946-47. In 1947-48 Bettio turned pro with the Boston Olympics and the Hershey Bears. His play earned him a spot on the 1949-50 Boston Bruins roster where he scored 9 goals and 12 assists in 44 NHL games. That was not good enough to keep him in Boston and Bettio found himself back in Hershey.
Bettio spent 1953-54 in the Western Hockey League with the Victoria Cougars. From 1954 to 1958 he played for the Buffalo Bisons and then switched to the Sudbury Wolves until his retirement in 1962.
