The Sidney J. Watson Arena is an indoor arena located on the campus of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Construction of the arena began in the fall of 2007. The arena opened in 2008. The arena is named in honor of the school's former hockey coach, Sid Watson, who coached the team from 1960 to 1983. The arena has a capacity of 1,900. It is home to the Bowdoin Polar Bears men's and women's ice hockey teams. The arena replaced the Dayton Arena (Bowdoin) which was built in 1956 and renovated in 1992.
