"Bruins" is the name of the sports teams of the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. The College has campuses in Oakville and Brampton, Ontario, both western suburbs of Toronto.

The hockey team played in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association from 1968 to 1992.

They won the provincial title in 1974 and 1983. They hosted the 1977 CCAA Championship Bowl. They made it to the final when they lost to Red Deer. Thomas Terrazzano 1989 -1990 OCAA League MVP. He holds the record for scoring the fastest hatrick in OCAA men's hockey history.

The team disbanded in 1992.
